1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Unslopt analyzes publicly available posts on X (formerly Twitter) and returns an assessment of whether the content appears to be written by a human or generated by artificial intelligence, along with a confidence score. The Service is provided for informational purposes and is meant to assist, not replace, your own judgment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you're between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

4. Your Account

Some features may require an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Contact us right away at legal@unslopt.app if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, defame, or make bad-faith claims about a real person based on a verdict;
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures on the Service;
• Submit automated bulk requests without our written permission;
• Use the Service in a way that violates X's own terms of service; or
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Accuracy of Results

AI-content detection is a probabilistic process, not a certainty. Verdicts and confidence scores are the output of automated models and can be wrong, including false positives and false negatives. Don't treat a result from the Service as definitive proof of authorship — we recommend using it as one input among several, especially for decisions that could affect a real person, such as employment, academic, or moderation decisions.

7. Submitted Content

When you submit a link or text for scanning, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that doing so doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. We may retain submitted content and results to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including improving our detection models, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and underlying detection technology, belongs to Unslopt and is protected by intellectual property law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or proprietary technology beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended.

9. Third-Party Platforms

The Service analyzes content hosted on X, a platform we don't own or control. We aren't responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of X or any other third-party service, and your use of X stays subject to X's own terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unslopt won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to these Terms or the Service won't exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Unslopt harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you've violated these Terms. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [insert governing state/country], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in [insert jurisdiction].
